The banner read: “Jes Thorup, we trust you… together we will make history.” 🇩🇰❤️ This was Thorup’s first official league appearance with the team and also his first encounter with the Al Ahly faithful since taking charge.
The Danish coach had previously led Al Ahly for the first time in the CAF Champions League Round of 32, against Étoile du Nord, marking
the start of his journey with the African champions.
