Al Ahly’s first football team coaching staff has decided to give the players four days off during the suspension of Egyptian Premier League matches because of the international window.
Wael Gomaa, Al Ahly’s director of football, revealed that the team trained this morning at Mokhtar El-Tetsh Stadium before beginning the four-day break tomorrow as part of the program prepared for the upcoming commitments.

Wael Gomaa explained that the break is part of the team’s technical and physical program during the league suspension, particularly as the players need an opportunity to recover before returning to training and continuing preparations for the upcoming matches.
The coaching staff is expected to use the international break to monitor the physical condition of the squad and work on preparing the players in the best possible way before official competition resumes.
The break comes after Al Ahly played an important match against Abu Qir Fertilizers, where the Red Giants collected all three points and kept a clean sheet.
