Al Ahly football director Wael Gomaa has revealed the dates on which the club’s international players are expected to return to team training as preparations continue for the resumption of official competition.
Gomaa confirmed that the players who joined the Egypt senior national team will return to Al Ahly training on October 6, following the completion of their international duties.
Their return comes at an important stage for the team, with Al Ahly preparing to resume competitive action shortly after the international break and needing all available players ready as quickly as possible.

Regarding the club’s foreign internationals, Gomaa confirmed that Algerian player Moncef Bakrar will rejoin Al Ahly training on October 8, after completing his international commitment with Algeria.
The coaching staff are monitoring the return dates of the club’s international players in order to organize the training program accordingly, particularly as the players will finish their national-team duties at different times.

Al Ahly’s first-team squad resumed training this evening at El Tetsh Stadium after completing the rest period granted to the players following their recent friendly against Misr Elmaqasa.
