Under the guidance of Danish coach Jes Thorup, Al Ahly will look to book their ticket to the next round when they host Eagle Noir of Burundi at Cairo International Stadium tonight, Saturday, at 8 PM (Cairo time), in the second leg of the CAF Champions League Round of 32. 🏆🔥

The Red Devils claimed a 1–0 victory in the first leg in Burundi, thanks to an own goal, giving them the upper hand ahead of tonight’s return fixture. A draw or any win will be enough for Al Ahly to advance to the group stage.

Al Ahly aims to deliver a strong performance in front of their home fans, secure a convincing win, and send an early message to rivals that they are determined to reclaim the African crown they narrowly missed last season. 💪🔴

Supporters are eager to see the team maintain its winning momentum under Jes Thorup, who has made a positive start to his tenure with back-to-back victories  over Eagle Noir in the first leg and Al Ittihad Alexandria in the Egyptian Premier League (2–1).

The team will, however, miss several key players due to injury or lack of fitness, including Mohamed Sherif, Ashraf Dari, Hussein El Shahat, and Emam Ashour. Still, the squad’s depth and international experience are expected to carry them through.

Meanwhile, Eagle Noir travels to Cairo with hopes of pulling off a stunning upset. Their coach, Jimmy Ndayizeye, said in a press statement: “I expect a tough, balanced match.
