Former Egypt international Ahmed Hassan revealed that Al Ahly are working on plans to strengthen their defensive line during the upcoming January transfer window.

According to Hassan, the three names under consideration are Mohamed Abdelmonem of Nice, Hossam Abdelmegid of Bulgarian side Ludogorets and Omar Fayed, who is currently playing in Europe.
The club is reportedly studying the options before deciding which player best fits its defensive requirements.

Mohamed Abdelmonem is reportedly among the defenders being considered by Al Ahly, with the player having previous experience at the club and with the Egypt national team.
