Al Ahly SC’s Board of Directors, led by Mahmoud El Khatib, extended warm congratulations to Dr. Hassan Moustafa after his re-election as President of the International Handball Federation for the seventh consecutive term, marking another milestone in his distinguished administrative career.
The club released an official statement through its social media platforms, expressing pride in the achievement and wishing Dr. Moustafa continued success in leading international handball and advancing the sport globally.
Meanwhile, Al Ahly continues its preparations in the winter transfer market, as head coach Jes Torup seeks to reinforce the attacking department ahead of upcoming competitions.
Reports revealed that the club is considering the signing of Congolese striker Samuel Essende from German side Augsburg. Despite limited playing time last season, Essende managed to score 10 goals, drawing attention to his attacking efficiency.
Augsburg is reportedly open to selling the player due to the presence of more experienced attacking options, which could facilitate a move at a reasonable fee. Essende’s current market value is estimated at €3.5 million according to Transfermarkt, while Al Ahly’s final decision remains pending.
