🖤 The Egyptian sports community was struck with grief following the tragic death of Mohamed Shoukry, a Kafr El-Sheikh football player, who passed away on Tuesday morning after collapsing during his team’s Second Division match against El-Qazazin.

⚽️ Shoukry suddenly collapsed on the pitch after swallowing his tongue. He was immediately rushed to El-Zarqa Hospital, where doctors performed CPR and resuscitation attempts, successfully restoring his pulse for a short time before he sadly passed away due to cardiac arrest.

🤍 Zamalek SC released an official statement through its Facebook page, saying:

“Zamalek Club and its Board of Directors, led by Captain Hussein Labib, express their deepest condolences on the passing of Mohamed Shoukry, Kafr El-Sheikh player. Our thoughts are with his family, teammates, and fans during this difficult time.”

🇪🇬 The Egyptian Olympic Committee, headed by Engineer Yasser Idris, also extended condolences, writing:
