Sports legal expert Amer Al-Amaira ⚖️ has called on Al Ahly’s management to urgently contact the disciplinary committee of the Egyptian Football Association regarding the case of goalkeeper Mohamed El Shenawy 🧤, following his recent suspension ⚡️.
Al-Amaira stressed the need to request a temporary suspension of the punishment ⛔ to ensure justice and prevent irreversible harm until the case is resolved.
He also emphasized the importance of obtaining full VAR recordings 🎥, including original audio and all camera angles, rather than broadcast footage only ⚽📺.
He noted that these recordings are the key evidence in Al Ahly’s complaint against the refereeing team, especially amid the federation’s refusal to provide them.
He added that the case could be escalated to the appeals committee under FIFA regulations 📜 if necessary.
Meanwhile, El Shenawy was seen in the stands at Cairo Stadium supporting his team during the Smouha match 🔴 while serving his suspension.
