Sports journalist Amr El-Dardir stirred up a storm on social media after a controversial post on his official Facebook account showing a photo of former Zamalek duo and current Al Ahly players Ahmed Sayed Zizo and Achraf Ben Sharqi ⚽🔥.
El-Dardir wrote a provocative caption: “You know when you have something, use it until it’s worn out, then throw it away, and someone else picks it up thinking it’s still new? That’s exactly what happened with these two. We live and throw away, and others are still collecting what we’ve already used.”
The post was interpreted by Al Ahly fans as mockery of the players’ transfer to the Red Castle, with many accusing El-Dardir of crossing the line especially after Zizo’s impressive performance for the team.
