Younes said the continuation of the current situation could create greater challenges for Zamalek, warning that failing to address the club’s problems could affect its overall stability and sporting position.

Speaking on CBC, Ayman Younes expressed concern about the club’s current situation and the possibility of further deterioration if the ongoing problems are not addressed.
He said: “Do you want to bring Zamalek down and make it like Ismaily one day?”, reflecting his concern over what he sees as a potentially difficult path for the club.

Younes argued that financial difficulties have left Zamalek more vulnerable in certain contract situations and said: “Poverty has made Zamalek vulnerable through its players and allowed someone like Bezerra to twist the club’s arm.”
He also suggested that stronger finances would give Zamalek greater ability to retain its players and manage departure requests, adding: “If Zamalek were rich, who could say I’m leaving the club?”

He said: “The board is supposed to manage, not come and spend.”
