Bayern Munich 🇩🇪 officially announced on Tuesday the contract extension of their Belgian manager Vincent Kompany until June 30, 2029, confirming the club’s strong confidence in the young coach after a successful start to his tenure in Munich.
Kompany, aged 39, was originally contracted until the summer of 2027, but the club decided to extend his deal two years early, as a sign of appreciation for his excellent work and positive results with the first team.
Speaking to the club’s official website, Kompany expressed his gratitude, saying:

Kompany took charge of Bayern Munich in the summer of 2024, joining from Burnley FC (England). In his first season, he led the Bavarian giants to the Bundesliga title 🏆, before kicking off the current campaign by securing the German Super Cup.
