Reports confirm that the Brazilian Football Confederation has extended Italian coach Carlo Ancelotti’s contract until the 2030 World Cup 🇧🇷⚽, aiming to provide long-term technical stability for the national team.
According to ESPN, Ancelotti will receive a huge annual salary of €10 million 💰, placing him among the highest-paid national team coaches worldwide.
The extension is intended to give Ancelotti full authority to build a new generation capable of bringing Brazil back to major tournament podiums after a long gap since winning the 2002 World Cup 🏆.
Ancelotti’s previous contract was set to expire in July 2026, after the upcoming World Cup, but the new deal adds four more years, securing his leadership of the Seleção for the 2030 World Cup, which will be jointly hosted by Morocco, Spain, and Portugal 🌎.
