CAF has announced the schedule for Pyramids FC in the group stage of the CAF Champions League 🏆.
First Match:
Pyramids, the reigning Egyptian champions and last edition’s CAF Champions League winners, will host Rivers United of Nigeria on Saturday, November 22, at 6:00 PM Cairo time at Al-Difaa Al-Gawy Stadium ⚽🇪🇬.
Second Match:
In the second round, Pyramids will face Power Dynamos of Zambia on Saturday, November 29, at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in Ndola, Zambia.
Egypt B Team Player Exclusions:
Hamada Toulon, head coach of Egypt’s B team, excluded Mahmoud Gad, Marwan Hamdy, Ahmed Atef Qotta, and Ahmed Sami from the squad for the friendly matches against Algeria on November 14 and 17. The decision followed the Egyptian Clubs Association’s refusal to postpone the Ismaily Electricity and Petrojet matches in December, preventing the four players from participating in the Arab Cup.
Replacement Call-Ups:
The coaching staff called up Ragab Nabil, Karim Al-Debis, and Hossam Hassan as replacements, with no replacement for Mahmoud Gad.
