Dani Carvajal 🇪🇸, captain of Real Madrid, has launched a strong attack on La Liga after its controversial decision to stage the upcoming Barcelona vs Villarreal match on December 21 at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, USA 🇺🇸, marking the first time in history that a league fixture will be played outside Spain.

The decision sparked widespread debate and outrage across Spanish football circles, with many critics arguing that moving the match abroad violates the principle of fair competition and undermines the equality of conditions among clubs in La Liga.

In an interview with Teledeporte, Carvajal expressed his disapproval, saying:

> “It seems to me like a blatant violation of the competition’s integrity, as not all La Liga teams will compete under the same conditions.”

He continued:

> “It’s essential that players, clubs, and the league act fairly and uphold justice  but that’s not what we’re seeing right now.”

The Real Madrid captain warned that this decision could set a dangerous precedent, potentially compromising the integrity of Spanish football, and urged organizers to reconsider the move before it’s implemented ⚠️.

On a different note, Carvajal spoke about the upcoming El Clásico against Barcelona, set for October 26 at the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium, saying:

> “Last season’s defeats to Barcelona don’t affect us mentally, but they give us motivation for revenge. The league is long, and one match doesn’t decide the champion  but winning would mean a lot to us and our fans 💪.
