Hicham Jouzia, assistant coach of Algerian side Chabab Belouizdad, revealed the team’s latest preparations ahead of their upcoming clash against Zamalek, scheduled for Friday, April 10, at Nelson Mandela Stadium, in the first leg of the CAF Confederation Cup semi-finals.
Jouzia stated in press remarks that the team’s recent victory over Paradou in the Algerian league was highly important at this stage, providing a valuable morale boost ahead of crucial upcoming fixtures both domestically and continentally.
He added that facing Zamalek in the Confederation Cup carries a special character and requires distinct preparation, noting that the team is currently experiencing a congested schedule and significant pressure, which is expected for teams competing on multiple fronts.
He also explained that the technical staff is currently focused on the upcoming league match against Mostaganem before shifting full attention to the highly anticipated Confederation Cup encounter with Zamalek.
These remarks come as part of Chabab Belouizdad’s serious preparations for one of its most important challenges in the tournament, in a matchup that is expected to attract strong attention from African football fans due to its competitive nature.
