Al Ahly Club has announced that head coach José Ribeiro will attend today’s press conference ahead of the team’s clash with Brazilian side Palmeiras in the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup, as part of the second round of Group A fixtures.

The press conference will be held at MetLife Stadium in New York at 2:45 PM local time (9:45 PM Cairo time), where Ribeiro will outline the team’s preparations for the upcoming match and respond to journalists’ questions regarding player readiness and tactical strategies.

Ribeiro is expected to reveal the latest updates on key squad members and the players he will rely on to compensate for certain absences. He will also address the condition of injured players and the recovery plans in place ahead of Thursday’s match.
The press conference will be attended by members of Al Ahly’s technical and administrative staff, along with representatives from FIFA and the Palmeiras delegation, in addition to local and international media. The event will be broadcast live on the club’s official online channel and the tournament’s broadcasting networks.

Al Ahly is set to face Palmeiras tomorrow, Thursday, at 12:00 PM U.S. time (7:00 PM Cairo time) at the same venue, following a goalless draw in their opening match against Inter Miami. The team aims to secure its first victory and strengthen its position in a group that also includes Portuguese side Porto.
