TV host Amr Dardery sparked outrage among Al Ahly fans after posting on his Facebook account regarding Ahmed Sayed Zizo’s performance in the 3-1 victory over Wadi Degla in the 16th round of the Egyptian Premier League.
Dardery wrote: “Zizo scored a normal penalty,” which fans saw as downplaying the player’s impressive performance. Al Ahly fan pages, however, praised Zizo, stating: “Zizo is a legend, we never lived before you, the hype is real Ahmed Zizo is calm and composed, our boy only performs on the pitch.”
Dardery also added: “Still upset, they are annoyed by your presence Zizo, unbelievable, he created chaos in Mit Okba.”
