In a potential game-changing move for English football, The Sun has revealed that a group of Emirati investors are preparing to make an official offer to buy Manchester United, with former club legend David Beckham expected to play a key role in the deal ⚽💼.

According to the report, the investors have already approached Beckham to discuss joining their consortium, which aims to acquire the club from the Glazer family, who are reportedly seeking £5 billion for their controlling stake.

Earlier reports had indicated that the Glazers were considering selling Manchester United before 2027, looking to capitalize on the club’s high market value and global appeal.

The newspaper added that Beckham has been contacted by the Emirati group to explore whether he would be willing to serve as an ambassador for the proposed bid, while also giving him the opportunity to invest and regain a stake in his former club if he wishes.
