The South Giza Public Prosecution disclosed a shocking incident involving the arrest of a student taking an exam on behalf of Ramadan Sobhi at the Tourism and Hotels Institute in Abu Nomros, in coordination with the owner of a café.

Investigation Developments: Arrests and Summons
The prosecution issued a warrant to arrest the café owner and summoned several employees from the institute’s administration to give statements about student entry procedures and verify the identities of examinees.
Authorities requested an original copy of Ramadan Sobhi’s ID card to compare it with the document used in the impersonated exam.

Detention of the Accused and Disciplinary Referral for Ramadan Sobhi
The prosecution ordered the detention of the accused student and a security guard for four days pending investigations. Meanwhile, no direct charges were issued against Ramadan Sobhi; however, he was referred to a disciplinary board for administrative investigation of the case.
The player’s lawyer stated that his client has no connection to the incident and was unaware of what happened, emphasizing his innocence and lack of involvement with those implicated in the impersonation scheme.
