Media personality Dina Selim has revealed efforts by people close to Zamalek’s board and coaching staff to resolve the situation involving Seif Jaafar and his exclusion from the team’s group training sessions.
Speaking on the “Stad El Mahwar” program, Selim explained that some figures have suggested allowing the player to return to group training and giving him another opportunity to compete for a place in the squad.
The proposal comes after Jaafar remained at Zamalek during the latest transfer window rather than leaving the club.

According to Selim, some people close to the club believe that bringing Seif Jaafar back into group training could be useful under the current circumstances, particularly because of a shortage of options in his position.

His return, however, remains dependent on the outcome of the ongoing efforts to resolve the dispute surrounding his current status.

Meanwhile, Zamalek players were given an additional day off amid objections from some members of the squad over delayed financial payments.
The players had been expected to return to training, but head coach Mo’tamed Gamal granted them an extra day to give the club’s management additional time to work on settling the outstanding dues.
