Pyramids Add Third Goal Against El Qanah in Egypt Capital Cup
Pyramids continued to dominate their opening Egypt Capital Cup match against El Qanah, adding a third goal at Air Defense Stadium in the first round of the group stage.
The third goal came in the 76th minute. Ziad Saudi fired a shot from inside the penalty area, which was saved by El Qanah goalkeeper Mohamed Shaaban. Ali Hamouda reacted quickly and followed up with a header that found the middle of the net to give Pyramids a comfortable advantage.

The goal came from a free kick taken by Mohab Samy from the left side. His cross found Mohamed El Shabini inside the penalty area, and the defender headed the ball from near the front post into the right side of the goal.
