Early Goal Secures the Win
Egypt scored the only goal of the match in the 10th minute of the first half. The play started with a corner kick taken by Ahmed Sayed “Zizo” from the left side, passed cleverly outside the box to Ahmed Nabil “Kouka,” who sent a perfect cross into the penalty area. Mohamed Hamdy met it with a powerful header into the right corner of the net, giving Egypt the lead.
A New Achievement in National Team History
With this victory, Egypt officially secured qualification for the World Cup for the fourth time in its history after topping Group A in the African qualifiers. The team collected 26 points from ten matches, winning eight and drawing two without any defeats, confirming their dominance and well-deserved qualification.
