🏋️🇪🇬 Egypt team departs for Algeria
The Egyptian Paralympic weightlifting delegation departed early Monday morning from Cairo International Airport ✈️ heading to Oran, Algeria 🇩🇿 to participate in the 2026 African Open Championship 🏆🌍.
The tournament represents the second qualification stage for the Egyptian national team on the road to the Los Angeles 2028 Paralympic Games 🇺🇸🔥.
🌍 Major African competition
The African Open Championship will take place from May 18 to May 23 in Oran 🇩🇿 with the participation of around 159 athletes representing 24 African countries 🌍🏆.
The competition is considered one of the continent’s most important Paralympic events, offering valuable ranking points and qualification opportunities for upcoming international tournaments 🔥🏋️.
