📺 Exceptional Decision to Extend Live Sports Coverage
Egypt’s Supreme Council for Media Regulation, chaired by engineer Khaled Abdel Aziz, has approved a recommendation to extend the live broadcast period for sports programs across satellite channels on an exceptional basis this Friday.
The decision comes ahead of Egypt’s highly anticipated match against Angola, which marks the Pharaohs’ opening game in the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying campaign.

Under the decision, sports programs will be allowed to continue broadcasting live until 1:30 AM, giving broadcasters additional time to follow the match and provide post-match analysis after the final whistle.
Egypt will face Angola at 10:00 PM on Friday in the opening round of the 2027 AFCON qualifiers.
