The Egyptian Speedball national team delegation is heading to the Algerian capital to participate in the Arab and African Championship for youth and seniors, which will be held in Rouiba from July 24 to July 31, with great ambitions to achieve strong results and raise the Egyptian flag on the podium.

The Egyptian team enters the tournament aiming to compete for all available titles, especially with Egypt’s strong history and outstanding level in Speedball at both Arab and continental levels. ⭐

🏆 Egypt Delegation Includes 19 Members

The Egyptian delegation consists of 19 members, led by Dr. Ahmed El-Hawary as head of delegation, along with the technical staff under Ali Gomaa, head coach of the Egyptian national teams, and Sara Nashaat, team administrator.

The squad includes 16 male and female players representing some of Egypt’s biggest Speedball clubs, combining experienced players and young talents looking to prove themselves on the international stage.

📢 The technical staff hopes to use the tournament as an opportunity to test the players against different schools of the game, especially with the participation of many Arab and African countries.

Participating nations include Algeria as the host country, along with Tunisia, Libya, Iraq, Morocco, Sudan, Cameroon, Chad, Palestine, Yemen, Comoros, Somalia, Mauritania, Kenya, and Tanzania.

Before the delegation’s departure, Ahmed El-Khatib, president of the Egyptian Speedball Federation, held a meeting with players, coaches, and administrative staff to motivate them ahead of the competition.

The federation president urged the players to deliver their best performance and fight for gold medals, expressing confidence in their abilities and technical potential.

He also emphasized the importance of competing for all four championships, including youth and senior Arab and African titles, with Egypt having a squad capable of achieving major success. 🏆
