EFA Launches Stadium Inspection Tours Ahead of the New Season

The Egyptian Football Association (EFA) has officially announced the start of a comprehensive inspection campaign targeting stadiums of First and Second Division clubs. This initiative comes as part of preparations for launching the youth and junior sector competitions for the 2025/2026 sports season. The move aligns with the EFA’s ongoing efforts to improve infrastructure and ensure stadium readiness in line with top safety and technical standards.

Inspection Schedule

The inspection tours will kick off on Thursday, July 31, 2025, and continue until Friday, August 1, 2025. A detailed schedule has been set to organize visits to each stadium efficiently and without conflict.

Clubs Included in the First Tour

The first round of inspections will include major clubs such as Al Ahly, Zamalek, Pyramids, Ceramica Cleopatra, Arab Contractors, El Dakhleya, Wadi Degla, National Bank of Egypt, El Nasr, Telecom Egypt, and Ismaily. The goal is to review facility conditions and ensure compliance with safety and tournament regulations.

Objectives of the Inspections

The EFA's inspection teams will focus on evaluating the technical readiness of stadiums, including the pitch condition, locker rooms, lighting, medical facilities, and spectator stands. The goal is to guarantee a safe, organized, and high-quality environment for players, referees, and fans.

EFA Guidelines for Clubs

The EFA emphasized the importance of clubs adhering to their assigned inspection times and fully cooperating with the inspection teams. Any club that fails to comply or whose stadiums do not meet the required standards will face appropriate action.
