💛 Optimism has returned to Ismaily SC after the visit of Major General Akram Galal, Governor of Ismailia, to the club’s headquarters. The visit had a strong positive impact on the players and coaching staff ahead of Sunday’s important clash with Pharco in Matchweek 12 of the Egyptian Premier League.

🎙️ Ahmed El-Agouz, head of the club’s football sector, said in statements to Ismaily’s media center: “The governor’s visit was a real show of support for the team. It gave the players a great push before the upcoming match. Ismaily is going through a new phase that requires everyone to come together so we can bring the club back to its rightful place.”

👏 El-Agouz added: “I truly hope to see our fans back in the stands starting from tomorrow’s match against Pharco in Alexandria. The players are fully focused on securing the win and making the Ismaily faithful proud. All they need now is the fans’ backing.”

🏗️ Meanwhile, Governor Akram Galal announced the start of an extensive renovation plan for Ismaily’s facilities. The plan includes upgrading the players’ gym, the meeting hall, the club restaurant, and the kitchen at the players’ hotel.

🚗 The governor also ordered maintenance of two club-owned vehicles as part of the governorate’s mechanical service initiative, while directing that all facilities of the Ismailia Olympic Village be made available to support Ismaily’s first team  including the training pitches, fitness gym, jacuzzi, spa, sauna, and hotel wing for training camps.

🏛️ In parallel, the Ministry of Youth and Sports is set to announce, within days, the formation of an interim committee to manage Ismaily SC after the club’s board was referred to the public prosecution for financial and administrative irregularities.

📢 Ministry spokesperson Mohamed El-Shazly explained that Minister of Youth and Sports Dr. Ashraf Sobhy decided to suspend the current board and assign the Ismailia Youth and Sports Directorate to temporarily manage the club until investigations conclude and a new committee is officially formed.

💬 During his meeting with the players, Governor Akram Galal said: “I’m fully behind you. I can see how much effort you’re putting in. I hope we can win the next six points to move up the table. Ismaily is the heart of Ismailia — it’s a club that belongs to the people, and we all love it.”

⚽ Under the guidance of Algerian coach Miloud Hamdi, Ismaily are preparing for their match against Pharco, scheduled for 8:00 PM on Sunday, as they aim to claim another victory and move further away from the danger zone in the league standings.
