🎙️ Essam El-Hadary, the former goalkeeper of Egypt’s national team and Al Ahly, made bold statements about Ahmed Sayed Zizo’s move to Al Ahly, expressing his doubts that the player will achieve success with the Red Devils 🔴.
Speaking on the “Match Box” podcast, El-Hadary said:
“I don’t welcome Zizo’s signing with Al Ahly. The club won’t benefit from this deal. At the moment, Zizo won’t perform well for Al Ahly, though maybe later he could.”
🗣️ He added: “So far, Zizo hasn’t made a real impact in the matches he’s played for Al Ahly. He only performed well in one game.”
El-Hadary concluded by saying:
“Al Ahly is totally different from Zamalek. The two clubs aren’t the same at all. The truth sometimes upsets people, but in my opinion, Zizo won’t succeed at Al Ahly right now.” ⚽
💬 El-Hadary’s comments sparked wide reactions on social media, with some agreeing with his assessment, while others believe Zizo just needs more time to adapt to Al Ahly’s demanding environment and winning mentality.
