⚠️ Zamalek faced a new registration suspension today, Wednesday, by FIFA, marking the sixth case against the club, with Tunisian midfielder Ferjani Sassi being the cause.
💶 The source explained that Sassi’s dues reached 880,000 euros after interest was applied for late payment, up from the original 500,000 euros.
📜 The dispute dates back to a prior ruling awarding Sassi 700,000 euros. Zamalek appealed the ruling, but it was rejected. The club had deducted 400,000 euros from his dues due to penalties for missing training, which Sassi contested as not listed in the regulations, leading the final amount owed to reach 880,000 euros.
⚡ This is Zamalek’s sixth case after issues with Portuguese player Gomis and his three assistants, and former Swiss coach Christian Gross, putting the club under significant pressure regarding new signings.
