Coach Yannick Ferreira has decided to give Zamalek players a day off on Sunday as they prepare for the upcoming Egyptian Premier League match against National Bank, following their CAF Confederation Cup qualification.
Zamalek head coach Yannick Ferreira has granted his players a rest day on Sunday, after their effort in the CAF Confederation Cup Round of 32 second-leg match against Dekedaha of Somalia ⚽.
The team will resume training on Monday evening at El Harbiya Stadium, as part of their preparations for the Egyptian Premier League clash with National Bank on October 30.
Players who featured in the Dekedaha match performed recovery and fitness drills under the supervision of Spanish fitness coach Raúl López, while the substitutes and excluded players underwent intense physical and tactical training led by Ferreira and his staff, ending the session with a spirited mini-match 💪.
Zamalek advanced to the group stage of the Confederation Cup after defeating Dekedaha 1–0 in the return leg at El Salam Stadium, confirming their dominance following the 6–0 win in the first leg.
