Egypt’s U-17 national football team begins its journey in the FIFA U-17 World Cup in Qatar with a crucial clash against Haiti on Tuesday, marking the start of their Group E campaign, which also includes England and Venezuela. 🏆🇪🇬
The tournament runs from November 3 to November 27, 2025, featuring 48 teams for the first time in history. The Young Pharaohs are determined to make a strong start and secure a place in the knockout stages.
Egypt’s squad includes goalkeepers Omar Abdel Aziz, Amr Adel, and Mohamed Tarek.
Defenders: Hamza El-Degwy, Nour Ashraf, Fares Fakhry, Adham Farid, Mohannad El-Shamy, and Yassin Hossam.
Midfielders: Omar Kamal, Omar Abou Taleb, Basel Medhat, Mohamed Hamd, Bilal Attia, Anas Roshdy, Ibrahim El-Nagaaoui, Mohamed Sobih, and Mohamed El-Bendary.

FIFA has appointed a Belgian refereeing crew for the Egypt vs Haiti match, led by Vergot Gaspar, assisted by Seldraers Mickely and Tesbier Martigan, with Barbo Marian as fourth official and Gregoro Marco as reserve referee.
Historically, Egypt has played seven matches in two previous U-17 World Cup appearances, winning two, drawing two, and losing three, scoring nine goals and conceding eight.
The Young Pharaohs qualified for this year’s World Cup after 28 years of absence, following a 2–1 win over Angola in the African playoff, held during the U-17 Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco, which Morocco won by defeating Mali in the final. 🇪🇬🔥
