From Angola to South Sudan.. Hany Hattout Reveals Egypt’s International Break Program 🇪🇬🔥

Sports presenter Hany Hattout revealed details of Egypt’s senior national team schedule during the upcoming international break, which includes official qualifiers against Angola and South Sudan, followed by a friendly match against South Africa.

Hattout explained that the Egypt national team is preparing to begin its camp in the coming days, with a busy schedule requiring careful coordination of the players’ arrivals, travel plans and match preparations.

Egypt Squad Announcement and Start of Camp

Hany Hattout said Egypt’s squad will be announced this evening, with the national team set to begin its camp tomorrow at the National Teams Center in the Sixth of October City.

The camp will continue until September 24, before the team moves to a Cairo hotel ahead of its opening international fixture.

Hattout also revealed that players from Pyramids and ZED will join the Egypt camp tomorrow after completing their club commitments in the fifth round of the Egyptian Premier League. Pyramids are scheduled to face Eastern, while ZED are involved in the fixtures against ENPPI and Canal according to the announced program.

After completing the camp at the National Teams Center, the Pharaohs will move to a Cairo hotel on September 24 in preparation for their opening match against Angola.

Egypt Face Angola in Opening AFCON Qualifier

Egypt will play their first match of the international break against Angola on September 25 at Cairo International Stadium as part of the opening round of the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.

The match carries particular importance for the Pharaohs as it represents the official start of their qualifying campaign, with the coaching staff focused on preparing the players properly ahead of kick-off.

The national team will then immediately begin preparations for the next stage of the international schedule after the Angola match.

Pharaohs Travel to South Sudan

Following the Angola fixture, Egypt’s delegation will travel to South Sudan on September 27 aboard a private plane as the team prepares for its second qualifying match and seeks to reduce the physical burden of travel on the players.

Egypt will face South Sudan on September 29 in the second round of the qualifiers before returning to Cairo on September 30 following the match.

The schedule gives the coaching staff the challenge of managing two successive competitive fixtures within a short period while maintaining the players’ technical and physical readiness.

South Africa to Conclude the International Break

Egypt will conclude its international break schedule with a friendly against South Africa on October 4, as part of the team’s preparations for its upcoming international commitments.

The friendly will provide the coaching staff with another opportunity to assess the squad and give playing time to different players, while also using the match to prepare the group for the next stage of international competition.

With the start of the camp approaching, Egyptian supporters are now waiting for the official squad announcement and the names selected by the coaching staff before the Pharaohs embark on a busy period of matches and travel, beginning in Cairo against Angola, continuing in Juba against South Sudan, and ending back in Cairo against South Africa. 🇪🇬🏆
