Former Zamalek star Hamada Abdel Latif reflected on his relationship with the club, stressing that loyalty to Zamalek was always one of his main priorities during his playing career, even when he received significant financial offers.
Speaking during a phone interview on “Stad El Mahwar”, hosted by journalist Dina Selim, Abdel Latif said: “I am a son of Zamalek, and loyalty always came first for me. I received offers for large sums of money during the 1990s, but I turned them down for Zamalek.”
The former player explained that his connection with the club went beyond financial considerations and that remaining at Zamalek was closely tied to his sense of belonging.
