This recovery enabled the club to pay a large portion of the dues owed to former head coach, Swiss Christian Gross, as well as settle contracts for the first team players and the indoor sports athletes. This step is considered crucial to rescuing the club from its long-standing financial crises.El-Mandouh enthusiastically revealed that the registration crisis will be resolved within a few days. He pointed to intensive communications with former coach Jaime Pacheco and Moroccan striker Khalid Boutayeb to settle their dues and officially reopen the registration window, paving the way for signing strong and quality players that will bring new momentum and vitality to the White Knights, especially with the new season approaching.
But that’s not all — El-Mandouh also announced Zamalek’s success in significantly reducing the club’s financial burdens through smart negotiations with government entities such as the Tax Authority and the Electricity Company to reduce and reschedule debts.
