Hussein El-Sayed Demands Bezerra Return to Cairo Before Discussing His Departure
Maher Ghareeb, Zamalek’s media department head, confirmed that Hussein El-Sayed has demanded Juan Bezerra’s presence in Cairo before entering negotiations over his potential departure from the club.

Speaking on Mega FM Radio with Karim Ramzy, Ghareeb said that Zamalek held a Zoom meeting with Juan Bezerra’s agent and lawyer, during which the player’s representatives requested discussions over the offer from Shabab Al Ahli Dubai and the possibility of his departure from the club.
🏹 Zamalek Insists on Bezerra’s Return
Maher Ghareeb explained that Zamalek’s response was clear, as the club demanded that the player return to Cairo first before discussing any offer regarding his departure from the team.
He added that Zamalek’s position remains strong in the current dispute, particularly because Bezerra is under contract with the club, stressing that any negotiations regarding his future must be conducted through Zamalek’s management and through official channels.
📞 Meeting with the Player’s Agent and Lawyer
Recent days have seen communication between Zamalek officials and Bezerra’s representatives in an attempt to reach a solution regarding the player’s situation and the offer submitted for his services.
Zamalek remains committed to conducting all negotiations involving the player through official channels, while insisting that Bezerra return to Cairo and resume training with the team before any further decision is made regarding his future.

Maher Ghareeb also addressed the status of Zamalek’s football company, confirming that it remains in place and that any future decisions regarding it will be made according to what serves the club’s interests.
He noted that the matter remains under continuous discussion within Zamalek’s board of directors, with the aim of reaching decisions that serve the club’s interests in the coming period.
Zamalek continues to work on resolving the Bezerra situation, with the club maintaining its position and refusing to enter final negotiations over the player’s departure before his return to Cairo.
