🏆 Meeting Focuses on Squash Preparations for the 2028 Olympics
Johar Nabil, Minister of Youth and Sports, held a meeting with Eng. Amna El-Tarabolsi, President of the Egyptian Squash Federation, to discuss preparations for the national team’s participation in the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games, as well as plans for developing and preparing players during the coming period.
The meeting was also attended by Omar El-Morshedy, a member of the federation’s board, with the discussions covering several issues related to preparations for upcoming international and Olympic commitments.
💪 Technical and Physical Programs for Players
The meeting reviewed the team’s technical and physical preparation programs, along with ways to provide suitable conditions that would allow national team players to benefit fully from their preparation period.
The participants also discussed the importance of establishing comprehensive preparation programs that meet the players’ needs and help improve their readiness ahead of international competitions, as part of an early approach to Olympic preparation.
📢 Ministry Reaffirms Support for Sports Federations
During the meeting, Johar Nabil reaffirmed the Ministry of Youth and Sports’ continued support for sports federations, emphasizing early planning and scientific preparation for athletes to create more organized development programs.
The minister also highlighted the importance of cooperation between the ministry and sports federations to provide an appropriate preparation environment and help athletes continue improving their performance ahead of major competitions.

Johar Nabil pointed to the presence of a strong group of Egyptian male and female squash players capable of representing the country in international competitions, stressing the ministry’s interest in following up on preparation plans in coordination with the federation.
He also underlined the ministry’s commitment to addressing any obstacles facing the federation while implementing its programs, supporting players’ readiness and helping them prepare properly for upcoming competitions.
