The Jordan national team has suffered a major setback ahead of its historic FIFA World Cup participation 🌍⚽, after confirming the absence of key players Yazan Al-Naimat and Adam Al-Qurashi due to injuries.

The double blow comes at a critical time as Jordan prepares for its first-ever appearance in the World Cup, marking a historic milestone for Jordanian football.

Yazan Al-Naimat suffered a serious injury during Jordan’s match against Iraq in the 2025 Arab Cup quarterfinals ⚽, while the Jordan Football Association confirmed that Adam Al-Qurashi sustained an ACL injury following the final against Morocco, effectively ruling him out of the tournament.

Prince Ali Bin Al Hussein 👑, President of the Jordan Football Association Executive Committee, revealed via X that he closely followed the players’ rehabilitation journey, praising their strong efforts to recover and join the World Cup squad.

He confirmed that their absence is a significant technical loss for the team, especially given their important roles in recent campaigns.
