The Libyan club Al-Ittihad grants Kahraba a short leave
Al-Ittihad club issued an official statement announcing that it granted its foreign players, including Mahmoud Abdel-Moneim "Kahraba," a five-day leave to return to their families and check on their well-being. The club confirmed that all players are under long-term contracts and that there are no financial dues or legal obligations owed by them.

Changes in the local technical staff
The club clarified that the local players have resumed training and announced the termination of contracts with performance analyst Hashemi Zalouz and doctor Mohamed Harb. Osama Bahr was appointed as assistant coach, and Driss El-Says was assigned as the team’s physical preparation officer.

Kahraba returns safely to Egypt
Kahraba recently returned to Egypt following security unrest in Libya that caused the suspension of the local league. He stated that he will take a short break to check on his family before resuming his career with Al-Ittihad club.
Kahraba’s message of thanks and gratitude
Kahraba expressed his thanks to the Egyptian Presidency, Ministry of Youth and Sports, and the Egyptian Embassy in Libya for their support in securing his safe return to Cairo. His post received widespread positive reactions from fans who expressed joy at his safety and wished him continued success.

Role of the Egyptian Consulate
Kahraba’s return came after intensive efforts by the Egyptian Consulate coordinating with Libyan authorities to ensure his safety amid armed clashes in Tripoli. Everyone praised the effective role played by the state in protecting its player abroad.
