Media personality Khaled El Ghandour commented on Esperance Sportive de Tunis’ defeat to South Africa’s Mamelodi Sundowns in the 2025–2026 CAF Champions League semi-final ⚽🔥

He wrote on Facebook:
“Subhan Allah, Esperance who beat Al Ahly home and away, lost home and away to Sundowns… that’s football” 💬⚽

His comments came after Sundowns secured qualification to the final with a 2-0 aggregate victory over Esperance 🏆

The South African side won the first leg in Tunisia by the same scoreline before sealing the tie with a 1-0 win in Pretoria, completing a dominant semi-final performance 💥

The only goal of the second leg came from Brian Leon via a penalty in the 35th minute, in a match that saw strong resistance from Esperance ⚽🔥

With this achievement, Sundowns reach the CAF Champions League final for the second consecutive season, confirming their consistency on the continental stage 💪🏆

They will now face the winner of the Moroccan semi-final between RS Berkane and AS FAR 🇲🇦🔥
