Market Value of Egyptian Clubs at the Start of the League

Sports journalist Khaled El-Ghandour revealed detailed information about the market value of Egyptian clubs following the first round of the new Premier League season, highlighting the significant gap between the top three clubs. El-Ghandour stated on his official Facebook page that Al Ahly tops the list with an impressive market value of €38 million, followed by Pyramids FC in second place at €22 million, while Zamalek comes third with €15 million, reflecting the clear financial disparity among the country’s biggest teams. He also noted that the list of the league’s six most valuable players is led by Mahmoud Hassan Trezeguet at €5 million, followed by Emam Ashour at €4 million, Ahmed Sayed Zizo at €3.5 million, Aliou Dieng and Achraf Bencharki at €3 million each, and Pyramids player Everton at €2.5 million. El-Ghandour confirmed that the total market value of all 21 clubs participating in the Egyptian Premier League stands at around €156 million, placing the competition in a strong position regionally in terms of player value.

Ribeiro Not Convinced with Some Al Ahly Players

In another development, sports journalist Ahmed Hassan revealed behind-the-scenes details from within Al Ahly regarding head coach Ribeiro’s views on certain squad members. Hassan explained that Ribeiro recently held a private meeting with the club’s sporting director Mohamed Youssef, during which he expressed dissatisfaction with the performance of several players, particularly foreign signings. These observations could influence the starting lineup in upcoming matches and may even push the management to consider roster changes during the next transfer window.
