🎙️ Gadallah Reveals Details of the Studio Incident
Former Al Ahly star Khaled Gadallah has revealed details of the incident involving Rabie Yassin and Osama Hassan during an episode of the “El Bulldozer” program, explaining that he was present in the studio when the incident took place.
Speaking on the “Number One” program hosted by Mohamed Shabana on CBC, Gadallah said: “I was in the studio during the incident involving Rabie Yassin and Osama Hassan. He reacted because Osama interrupted him and he felt that Osama was diminishing Al Ahly.”
The former Al Ahly player explained that the situation escalated after Yassin perceived Hassan’s comments as disrespectful toward the club.
🤝 Osama Hassan Denied Intending to Insult Al Ahly
Gadallah explained that Osama Hassan clarified his position during the commercial break, saying that he had not intended to insult Al Ahly or belittle the club.
He said: “During the break, Osama Hassan confirmed that he did not intend to diminish or insult Al Ahly.”
According to Gadallah’s account, Hassan’s comments were not intended as an attack on the Cairo club, while the situation developed amid the tension inside the studio.
🧩 Gadallah: Rabie Yassin Is Respectful
Khaled Gadallah also praised Rabie Yassin, describing him as a respectful and well-mannered figure, while suggesting that his reaction may have been influenced by pressures that existed before the program.
He said: “Rabie Yassin is one of the respectful and well-mannered people, and what happened may have been the result of pressure from something before the episode.”
Gadallah’s account suggests that the incident may not have been the result of a direct personal dispute between the two former players, but could instead have been affected by circumstances surrounding the program.
⚠️ “El Bulldozer” Program Suspended
The incident was followed by action from the Supreme Council for Media Regulation, which approved recommendations from its complaints committee to summon the legal representative of Al-Shams Channel.
The council also decided to suspend the “El Bulldozer” program, hosted by former Egypt international Magdy Abdel Ghani, and ordered media outlets subject to Egypt’s Press and Media Regulation Law No. 180 of 2018 to prevent Rabie Yassin and Osama Hassan from appearing until the council’s investigations are completed.
The decision relates to violations identified by the council’s monitoring department during the program episode broadcast on September 19, 2026.
📢 Incident Draws Widespread Attention
Khaled Gadallah’s comments have provided another perspective on the incident, which has now moved beyond an on-air dispute after the Supreme Council for Media Regulation intervened and launched an investigation.
The outcome of those investigations is expected to determine the final measures related to the episode and the incident that took place inside the studio.
