Barcelona president Joan Laporta expressed his confidence in his team’s ability to beat Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabéu, stressing that the fight for the top spot in La Liga is the team’s greatest motivation ahead of El Clásico.

Laporta’s comments came during the 15th Congress of the Andalusian, Ceuta, and Melilla Barcelona Fan Clubs, held in the Spanish city of Huelva, and attended by several Barça legends, including Bulgarian icon Hristo Stoichkov.

“I won’t criticize the referees, but some decisions need to be reviewed. Flick accepted the punishment in good faith, even though I believe it was harsh and unfair.”
