Lewandowski also reflected on his relationship with Barcelona and what he gave the Catalan club during his time there, stressing that the period was filled with important experiences and achievements and that the relationship between the two sides was based on mutual benefit.
Lewandowski: Barcelona Was My Last European Club
Speaking in comments reported by media outlets, Robert Lewandowski said: “After Barcelona, I couldn’t imagine myself playing for another club in Europe.”
The Polish striker explained that his experience at Barcelona changed the way he viewed his future, particularly after several seasons competing in domestic and European competitions with the Catalan side.
Lewandowski added: “I gave Barcelona a lot, and they also gave me a lot, so I decided to leave Europe.”
