French star Kylian Mbappé, now a Real Madrid player, made sure to send a special congratulations to his former club Paris Saint-Germain after their historic achievement of winning the UEFA Champions League title for the first time in their history. PSG claimed a stunning 5–0 victory over Inter Milan in the final held at the Allianz Arena in Munich, Germany.

Mbappé shared a video of the PSG players celebrating on his official Instagram account, captioning it:
"Congratulations Paris Saint-Germain… The awaited day has arrived. This title is the result of outstanding teamwork and dedication from everyone at the club."
Mbappé is considered one of PSG’s biggest stars in the modern era, having played for the club for 7 years since moving from AS Monaco in the summer of 2017 for €180 million. During his time at the club, he played 168 matches and scored dozens of goals before moving on a free transfer to Real Madrid in the summer of 2024.

This European triumph marks a turning point in Paris Saint-Germain’s history and officially places them among Europe’s footballing elite. PSG becomes the third French club to reach the Champions League final more than once, after Reims and Marseille.
