Mohamed Hamdy Speaks Out About His Injury in Africa Cup of Nations
Mohamed Hamdy, Egypt national team and Pyramids FC star, commented on his injury during the Round of 16 match against Benin in the Africa Cup of Nations, assuring fans of his support for teammates despite being sidelined.
Hamdy wrote on Instagram: "Thank God for everything. It’s a frustrating injury at a tough time. I wished I could continue in the tournament and help my team win the cup, but thank God for everything."
He added: "I’ll be there behind my teammates cheering them on with our amazing fans."
He concluded: "Thanks for all the support I’ve received since yesterday. God willing, I’ll return stronger, and most importantly, we will make Egypt proud."
