🇪🇬 Egypt Camp Welcomes More Overseas Players
Several Egypt internationals have now joined the Pharaohs’ training camp in Cairo, with Mohamed Salah, Omar Marmoush, Rami Rabia, Hamza Abdelkarim and Omar Fayed arriving ahead of the team’s upcoming fixtures in the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
The five players joined the rest of the squad after completing their commitments with their respective clubs, allowing head coach Hossam Hassan to work with a larger group during the latest stage of preparations.
⚽ Five Overseas Players Prepare for Angola
The five players are now taking part in Egypt’s training sessions as preparations continue for the highly anticipated opening qualifier against Angola.
The match is scheduled for September 25 at Cairo Stadium as Egypt begins its campaign in the African qualifiers.
The coaching staff had already begun the team’s camp in Cairo before the squad gradually became complete with the arrival of the overseas-based players competing in European and Arab leagues.

Egypt’s coaching staff will rely on its overseas players alongside the rest of the squad as preparations intensify for the important opening fixture against Angola.
Following that match, the Pharaohs will continue their qualifying campaign against South Sudan on September 29 before returning to Cairo after the away fixture.

Egypt are competing in Group B of the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers alongside Angola, South Sudan and Malawi.
The current camp represents an important opportunity for Hossam Hassan and his staff to prepare the squad physically and tactically while building the team’s readiness ahead of the opening match.

Egypt will conclude its September international camp with a friendly against South Africa on October 4.
