Egyptian star Mohamed Salah, player of Liverpool FC, revealed his great ambition to win the Ballon d'Or, affirming that this dream has accompanied him for years and remains one of his most important personal goals throughout his professional career, especially as his individual and collective achievements continue to grow.

In media statements, Salah said: "I always think about winning the Ballon d'Or — not just for myself but for my people and my country. This dream has become part of my daily focus." He added: "When I was a kid playing in the streets of Egypt, I never imagined reaching this level. The idea only started to occur to me when my agent told me it was possible."

He continued: "During my time at Roma, it wasn’t something I considered, but since arriving at Liverpool, I’ve truly felt that I could compete for the award."

He concluded: "If I win the award, it would be amazing. And if I don’t, I’m still very proud of my career. What I’ve achieved so far is a source of pride for me and my country."
