Mohamed Selim “Soly” Appointed Egypt U16 Basketball Head Coach 🏀🇪🇬
The Egyptian Basketball Federation, headed by Amr Moselhy, announced on Sunday the new coaching staff for Egypt’s U16 national team as part of the federation’s plan to develop youth national teams and prepare a new generation of players for upcoming competitions.
The new coaching structure is part of the federation’s wider approach to developing its youth system by appointing technical staff responsible for preparing players and improving their level ahead of future official tournaments.
Mohamed Selim “Soly” to Lead Egypt U16 🇪🇬
The Egyptian Basketball Federation has appointed Mohamed Selim “Soly” as head coach of the Egypt U16 national team, giving him responsibility for leading the next stage and preparing the players technically and physically.
The new coaching staff will work on creating a preparation program designed to improve the players’ abilities and identify promising talents capable of representing Egypt’s national teams in the coming years.
New Technical Staff
The new Egypt U16 coaching staff includes:
Mohamed Ashraf Tawfik and Moamen Aboul Enein as coaches, while Ibrahim Abou Khadra will serve as performance development coach.
The new staff will focus on improving the players’ technical and physical abilities while also developing their individual and collective performance through the preparation program to be introduced in the coming period.
Talent Monitoring and a Special Preparation Program 🔎
The new coaching staff are expected to begin their work soon by monitoring promising players across different youth competitions in order to identify the strongest candidates for the national team.
The staff will also prepare a specialized training program based on the players’ needs and the demands of upcoming competitions, helping the team reach the required level before its official commitments.
