The coaching staff are looking to make the most of the current break by preparing the squad physically and technically, while giving players who have not featured regularly additional opportunities in friendly matches.

Zamalek are scheduled to play two friendly matches during the break against Modern Sport and El Sharqia Enppi, with the aim of increasing the squad’s readiness before the league resumes.
According to the information provided, five players — Mahmoud Gihad, El Sayed Osama, Mostafa El Zanary, Mohamed Ibrahim and Ahmed Khodary — have been promised opportunities to feature in the upcoming friendlies.

Meanwhile, Ayman Taher, Zamalek’s goalkeeping coach, held an extended meeting with the team’s goalkeepers during training.
The coach reportedly stressed the importance of discipline and concentration, while indicating that the coming period would include opportunities for all of the goalkeepers according to the coaching staff’s plans.
According to broadcaster Khaled El Ghandour, the current direction is for Mohamed Awad and Mohamed Sobhi to feature in the League Cup matches as part of the club’s rotation policy.

In another development, Omar Gaber and Mahmoud Hamdy El Wensh, Zamalek’s team captains, spoke to the entire squad in preparation for the upcoming period.
According to Khaled El Ghandour, the captains told the players that their outstanding dues had been paid, while urging everyone to remain focused and prepare strongly for the upcoming league matches.
