Dr. Ahmed Gaballah, Al-Ahly’s team doctor, confirmed that Mustafa El-Ash suffered a mild concussion during Monday’s training session 🏥⚽ and was taken to the hospital for 24 hours of medical observation to ensure his safety.

Al-Ahly is preparing for a crucial match against Morocco’s Raja Club Athletic on Friday, November 28, at 9:00 PM Cairo time, in the second round of the CAF Champions League group stage.

The Red Devils secured a 4-1 victory over Algeria’s JS Kabylie in the opening round, while Raja Club Athletic lost 0-1 to Tanzania’s Young Africans in the same round.

The coaching staff, led by Danish coach Jes Thorup, granted players a rest day on Sunday before resuming training today and tomorrow, ahead of a special flight to Morocco on Wednesday morning, where the team will hold two training sessions in preparation for the upcoming match.
